SCS’s Shyvonne Noboa was among those honored at the Ecuadorian Independence Day celebration held on August 6 at the Helen Marshall Cultural Center in Queens.
Hosted by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, in partnership with Consulado General del Ecuador en Nueva York and the Consular Agency of Ecuador in Queens, the celebration highlighted Ecuadorian culture through vibrant music, dance, and community.
Shyvonne is a first generation Ecuadorian-American and currently serves as Associate Executive Director for Older Adult Services at SCS, a position she has held since September 2022. She is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) with a master’s degree in social work, specializing in gerontology.
