On September 21, 2026, SCS, in partnership with CaringKind and Visiting Nurse Service (VNS) Health of Flushing, NY, organized a conference titled “Our Journey Together: Dementia Care and Resources in the Chinese Community.” The conference provided Chinese-language information and resources to help caregivers navigate dementia care.
Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Annie S. Wu, M.D., a leading board-certified neurologist, the event provided critical insights on memory disorders, practical caregiving strategies, and vital community resources. By breaking down language barriers and fostering a supportive network, the conference empowered caregivers with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the dementia care journey with confidence and dignity.
