On Saturday, October 28, the neighborhood tradition of the Sunnyside Post Mile returns. Proceeds from the run/walk event will benefit SCS.
The event includes the Sunnyside Post Mile as well as two children’s dashes: a 50-yard dash for 2–5 year olds, and a 100-yard dash for 6–9 year olds.
Since the event takes place only days before Halloween, participants are encouraged to dress in costumes. The event will be held rain or shine. There will be goody bags for those who embrace the Halloween spirit and ribbons for the best-dressed participants. Ribbons will also be given to all children who participate in the dashes.
