We are providing this notice to explain our Privacy Policy and the way your information is collected and used on this Site.

Anonymous Information

We have developed our Site so that you can visit it and obtain access to major portions of it without identifying yourself or revealing any personally identifying information. We may collect certain anonymous information about you when you visit our Site, including the type of browser and operating system you are using, the domain name of your Internet service provider, aggregate data about the number of your visits to our Site, and aggregate data about the pages visited.

Sunnyside Community Services collects and analyzes this anonymous aggregate data (“Aggregate Data”) to improve the design and content of its Site and to tailor its services to fit the interest of its constituents. We may also share this Aggregate Data with related entities, partners, and third party vendors.

Personally Indentifying Information

Our Site also enables you to conduct certain activities online, such as joining our newsletter mailing list, registering for event reminders, and making donations. If you engage in these activities via our Site, we may ask you to provide personally identifiable information, including your e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, and other relevant information.

Sunnyside Community Services uses the personally identifiable information you provide us for the following purposes only: (1) to process registrations and activities you conduct online; (2) to respond to your questions about our services; (3) for internal marketing purposes and as part of our donor database; (4) to provide you with additional and updated information regarding our services; and (5) to protect the security or integrity of this Site.

We do not currently share your personally identifying information with any third parties except for those we hire to maintain and update our Site and process financial information, including users’ credit card information, or if required by law, to protect against a threat of safety or destruction of property, or to enforce this Privacy Policy. 

Children

We will not knowingly collect information on our Site from children under age 13. If we discover that we have obtained personally identifiable information from a visitor under the age of 13, we will delete that visitor’s information from our database.

Opting Out

If you do not want to receive e-mail communications from Sunnyside Community Services and/or allow Sunnyside Community Services to use your information in the manner described above, you may notify us directly at info@scsny.org. Upon receipt and processing of an “opt out” request, we will, within a commercially reasonable amount of time, remove your information from future mailing lists.
